Chickity check it out. Its Soul Sunday, so here it comes. India.Arie (born India Arie Simpson) is a soul and R&B singer. She also plays guitar, flute, and produces. Born in lovely Denver, Colorado to a musical family and former NBAer Ralph Simpson. India.Arie's voice is smooth, stylish, and simply beautiful. I discovered this artists when the singer for my old band wanted to sing Video. From the first listen, we all loved it and it quickly became a regular in our set. The second song, There's Hope, came on the radio during a road trip through the Garden Route in South Africa. I new immediately I recognized the vocalist, wrote down what I thought the song was called, and found it again just a few months ago. Enjoy this wonderful Sunday and let these songs make you smile.
